Below are some of the different types of dents that can be removed with Paintless Dent Removal (PDR).  Using specialized tools we reach in behind the dent and work it back into its original position without damaging the factory finish. We are mobile so we come to you and repair the dent onsite at your home or work.  Our service area is all of Las Vegas.  We are based out of the Northwest part of Las Vegas.

The Process - You Have a Dent, What Next?

Our goal is to make getting a dent fixed as easy and possible for you.  We are mobile, so we come to you, making it very easy and convenient for you.  We come to your home or workplace (as long as your workplace allows someone to set up and work on the property).

Estimates are FREE!  If you have a dent and would like an estimate, feel free to call or text us.  If we miss your call, please leave a message, we really try to get right back to you.  If you have the picture that shows the dent well, feel free to text it over to us.  Pictures help, but they do not show us everything.  Pictures don’t show depth very well.  Once we discuss your vehicle and/or look at a picture, we try to give you a ballpark estimate for repair.  Please understand that it is impossible for us to know exactly what it will take to repair your vehicle until we see it in person.  Once we see the vehicle, we will give you an actual price before we begin the repair.

Dent Repair in Las Vegas

Dent Removal

Dent removal is an overall term used that covers all types of dents.  For paintless dent removal to work there are two main factors.  First is that the paint is not cracked on the dent, if the dent cracked the paint we can still remove the dent but the paint will still be damaged.  Second is if the metal is stretched.  By having stretched metal we are not able to remove the dent without having some left over wave from the expanded metal.

Door Ding Dent Repair Las Vegas

Door Dings

Awh…those pesky door dings that seem to appear out of nowhere.  You put your investigator hat on and try to remember back…where did it happen…who might have done it.  We understand, they can be maddening!  Well, don’t lose too much sleep over them.  The good news is that door dings make up the majority of the dents repaired with paintless dent removal, and they are usually pretty straightforward to repair.  Most can be repaired in 30 minutes to an hour by a well trained technician.  Unless there are complicating factors, a one inch dent will cost you around $100 to repair.  So, for not too much you can get it removed, get that fresh new look back, and not be reminded of it anymore every time you drive your car.

We hope it doesn’t happen to you, but we know that if you use your car, those pesky door dings are bound to find their way onto your car.  And when they do, we would love to help you by getting rid of them for you.

Crease Dent Removal in Las Vegas

Creases

Creases are dents that make a line.  They are like a whole bunch of dents strung together.  They can be difficult to repair because there is such a large “bottom” to the dent.  The bottom of the dent typically takes the longest to work up, it is the deepest.  On a crease, the area that makes up the bottom of the dent is compounded.  Therefore, it takes much more skill, time, and effort to work up.  The tool pushes must be very close together, even overlapping, and it will usually take several passes through the dent to work it out completely.  Because creases are difficult, they are often left incomplete because the dent guy lacks the skills or patience to finish them out completely.  If that happens the crease will take on a look similar to stitches.

A technician’s skill or lack thereof is usually evident on smaller dents, but you have to look close to see it because the area is small.  But on larger, more difficult dents, that difference is magnified and it becomes more noticeable.

Paintless Dent Removal is no different that anything else, you get what you pay for.  With PDR you usually only need to pay a little more to get a lot better results.  The cheapest price and highest quality work are rarely found together.

Hail Damage Dent Repair in Las Vegas

Hail Damage

Hail Happens!!

Hail does millions of dollars worth of damage to vehicles every year.  It ranges from very light damage to damage so extreme it becomes unrepairable with PDR.  Examples of irreparable damage would be hail that has broken the paint or hail damage so deep it has severely stretched the metal.

The cost of repair is estimated by the size and number of dents, as well as many other factors.  The repair time depends on the severity of the damage, sometimes taking a few days to complete.

If you have hail damage on your vehicle, feel free to contact us.  We would be happy to answer any questions you may have about getting your vehicle repaired.

The cost of repair is usually more than the insurance deductible, so customers choose to get their insurance company involved.  We can work with your insurance company to make the process quick and seamless for you.

A hail damage estimate requires an on site inspection.  There are too many variables to be able to give an estimate over the phone or from looking at a picture.  We charge $100 for a written hail damage estimate, to be applied to the total cost if we do the repair.

Aluminum Panel Dent Removal in Las Vegas

Aluminum Panels

It is harder to repair dents in aluminum panels than in steel panels with Paintless Dent Removal.  Aluminum is lighter and more springy than steel.  It also retains no memory of its original position.  When working aluminum, there is little difference between a push that is enough to make an improvement and a push that is too strong.  Aluminum also work-hardens more than steel, meaning the more it is worked, the more brittle it gets.  For these reasons, on a difficult dent like a large bodyline dent, aluminum will sometimes tear where there is a rivet or bolt near the dent where it is flexed over and over again.  Think of trying to do with a wiffle ball the same thing you can do with a baseball.  That is what its like working with aluminum.

In short, can dents in aluminum be repaired?  Yes, we do it all the time with great success.  Can the same number of dents in aluminum be repaired as those in steel panels?  No, you are more limited if the panel is aluminum, and the repair is more difficult.

bodyline dent removal Las Vegas

Bodyline Dents

Sometimes described as, “dents on seams,” or “dents on creases,” bodyline dents are some of the most difficult to remove cleanly, and without breaking the paint.  They are very rigid and difficult to repair completely.  Bodyline dents and other difficult dents will reveal a technician’s skill level, especially on the sharper, deeper dents.  Many dent guys don’t do well with bodyline dents, if they do them at all.  They may just stick to the less difficult dents, or if they try the harder dents, they may leave the dent with a lot of texture or broken paint.  We have extensive experience removing difficult dents, including bodyline dents.  We have included many bodyline dents in the gallery to illustrate this point.

If you have been told no on your dent, it is worth letting us give you a second opinion.  We can’t fix every dent, but we can fix more than most, and we do it while maintaining the highest quality of workmanship.
